LGA is seeking a vice president with both business-to-business and business-to-consumer experience for our growing PR practice.
In this role, the candidate will: provide strategy and counsel to clients; build senior-level client relationships; develop strategic PR programs that align with business objectives; mentor account staff; work collaboratively in an integrated marketing communications environment; and participate in new business development.
The ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism and integrity and have:a minimum of 12 years of PR experience, including significant experience at an agency working on top-tier accounts; superb written and verbal communications skills; proven experience and skills in national media relations, issues / crisis communications management, and integrating social media into client programs; strong client relationship-building experience; and the ability to lead a team of PR professionals. Financial services experience is required.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, PR, journalism, business or related discipline required.
