Following a 2010 rebranding initiative and heading into its 125th anniversary year in 2013, Belk, Inc., the nation’s largest privately owned mainline department store company, has selected Luquire George Andrews (LGA) for public relations and community relations support. LGA will serve as Belk’s companywide strategic public relations partner, responsible for corporate and storewide public relations as well as community relations in Belk’s Northern Region.
“LGA has been our partner on a number of other initiatives, including The Belk Bowl, and we trust them to understand our brand and what Modern. Southern. Style. means to us and to our customers,” said Jessica Graham, Belk vice president of communications and community relations, whose team selected LGA after an agency search and review.
