Five New Employees Join Agency

During a busy first half of 2012, Luquire George Andrews (LGA) hired five new employees.
“We are thrilled to have these new employees with fresh perspectives and ideas join LGA,” said Peggy Brookhouse, LGA president and partner. “Their tremendous talent, experience and passion for the business will serve our clients well.” 
Among the new faces at LGA is Stephanie Spicer, account director / client services, who is working with the Piedmont Natural Gas and American Tire Distributor teams, among others. Spicer joins the agency after six years at Grey Worldwide in New York City, where she was a vice president, account director. Her accounts there included Advil, Botox Cosmetic, Captain Morgan and Monopoly.
Jeremy Selan, office accountant, brings more than seven years of accounting experience to the agency. He most recently managed account reconciliations and helped small business clients in Charlotte integrate accounting software at Lavoie CPA PLLC.
Julia Rose will play a major role in the digital content strategy, social media and email marketing efforts for the North Carolina Division of Tourism, Film and Sports Development as content / social media specialist. Prior to joining LGA, Rose worked for Travelzoo in Chicago, developing online marketing campaigns and managing social media accounts.
The public relations department’s new account coordinator is Taylor Buckley, who is working with the Belk team. She recently earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising with a minor in business management from Liberty University. Buckley gained experience in public relations, marketing and event planning through internships in New York with Lucky Magazine and Rogers & Cowan PR.
Katie Doyle, account coordinator / client services, is working with the BB&T, Novant and SPX teams. Previously, she worked with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) as development manager for two years. Her responsibilities included event management, sponsor relations and communications for the Greater Carolinas Chapter's largest fundraising event – the Bike MS: Breakaway to the Beach ride.
