The North Carolina Department of Commerce’s Marketing Division has selected Luquire George Andrews (LGA) as its new full-service marketing communications, design and advertising agency. The contract award is for a three-year term beginning August 2012.
“LGA is telling North Carolina’s story well as our agency for tourism, film and sports promotion,” said Lynn Minges, assistant secretary for tourism, marketing, and global branding for the N.C. Department of Commerce. “We believe LGA’s economic development and digital marketing experience make it a perfect partner as we further strengthen North Carolina’s position as the nation’s best location for business expansion and relocation.”
“We are honored to have the opportunity to work with the Department of Commerce in communicating North Carolina’s unique balance of attributes – attributes that allow companies, employees and families to thrive,” said LGA President Peggy Brookhouse.
The scope of work emphasizes digital marketing initiatives that will cost-effectively leverage the budget and will include research and measurement, web development, online marketing, target industry sector trade shows and updated print collateral materials. Marketing efforts will target decision makers in specific industry sectors and site selection consultants that advise companies on business relocation issues.
LGA has extensive marketing experience with a broad range of clients, including BB&T, the NFL Carolina Panthers, Novant Health and Piedmont Natural Gas.
