LGA Pulls All-Nighter to Serve Five Nonprofits During Third Annual Goodstock

LGA today wrapped up Goodstock, a 24-hour advertising, marketing and public relations marathon. The agency donated nearly 1,000 hours and more than $180,000 worth of services to five area nonprofits, including 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte, Beds for Kids, Coalition to Unchain Dogs and the Charlotte-area chapters of Easter Seals UCP and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

LGA Helps Client Go “Over the Edge” to Raise Money for Special Olympics

The VUE Charlotte, the Southeast’s tallest residential building, recently let area thrill-seekers rappel down its building to raise more than $80,000 for Special Olympics North Carolina. Each brave soul raised a minimum of $1,000 for the opportunity to rappel 35 stories and help thousands of people with intellectual disabilities throughout the state.

LGA Helps Charlotte 49ers Name Football Field

Over the past several years, LGA has worked closely with the Charlotte 49ers to market UNC Charlotte’s first-ever football program, which begins play in September 2013 as an FCS independent.  LGA CEO and Founder Steve Luquire realized early on that the name of the field would be critically important – and in his mind, there was only one to consider. It was one that honored two great men, with a five-decade-long friendship, a love of and commitment to Charlotte and a history of collaborating to bring an NFL franchise to Charlotte and to build the Carolina Panthers franchise.
